hydrating banana face mask

When it gets colder, I feel like our skin needs a little more TLC than usual, especially when it comes to hydration. This is because the cold air forces the water in our skin to evaporate more quickly than usual and it is said that our skin looses more than 25 percent of its ability to retain moisture in the winter time.

So this is where a beautiful nourishing face mask comes in. This recipe, comprised of banana, aloe vera and honey, gives your skin the ultimate hydrating treatment.

It's super quick and simple but contains so much goodness for your skin. It is loaded with amazing probiotics, antioxidants, nutrients, enzymes, Vitamins A, B, C and E as well as so many incredible minerals and hydrating properties.

INGREDIENTS:

1 Banana

1 Tablespoon Aloe Vera Juice

1 Teaspoon local honey (optional)

½ Teaspoon Jamesetta

METHOD:

Blend all the ingredients together

Apply a thin layer all over the face, neck and décolletage.

Leave on for 20 minutes or until dry, then remove with warm water or a delicate cloth.

* Depending on the size of the banana, you may want to start with ½ tablespoon of Aloe Vera Juice and work up to your desired consistency.
