coconut body scrub

Now that it's getting colder, our skin is more prone to flakiness, drying out and looking quite lifeless. So one of the best things we can do is up our exfoliation and hydration, which is why this scrub is perfect as it combines both.

Not only will it help to gently remove dead skin cells, but with the use of desiccated coconut and coconut oil, it will also help to hydrate our skin, while the coconut sugar will help to invigorate it.

I also have found it a more gentle approach to exfoliation, as a lot of scrubs tend to leave my skin feeling itchy and irritated.

The first time I used this in the shower, I was so shocked at how soft it made my skin and how it actually looked like it was glowing.

I was able to use a generous amount all over my body, with only using half, so this recipe will give you two beautiful treatments.

INGREDIENTS:

¼ Cup Of Shredded Coconut

½ Cup Of Coconut Sugar

¼ Cup Of Coconut Oil

METHOD:

Melt the coconut oil

Combine all of the ingredients together - I found it good to start with a spoon and then using my hands to work it in all together.

(You can tweak the amount of coconut oil if you want it a bit more paste like.)

Work it into your skin using circle-like motions avoiding excessive and hard pressure as the ingredients are enough to do the work.
